Tree Huts Exfoliating Mud Mask

A little about this product for those of you that are unfamiliar.

So now that we're all familiar with what this product is supposed to do, allow me to explain my first experience.

The first thing i noticed upon opening the jar was the subtle, almost flowery, kind of "natural" scent. It was definitely pleasant and relaxing!

Now, we get to the fun part....application!

So the first thing i noticed was how cold it was. Seriously. It was like an ice pack on my face! But, I'm okay with that. In this Florida heat anything cold is welcome! 

Then i noticed the "black sand" in the mix. It was a little rough, like "prickly" i guess. But that's to be expected from sand, right? 

Suddenly, this warm, tingling sensation envelops my whole face. I'll admit, I was a bit alarmed at first but it turns out that's just apart of the exfoliating process.

Side note: This is my first time exfoliating so I was VERY new to it.

It dried almost instantly. Literally, mid application, it was drying. So its definitely a great "I'm in a rush and need something quick" kind of exfoliate.

(As you can see, my son enjoyed the drying process as much as i did!)

Now, we get to the results.

Is this tiny amount of product REALLY worth $14.99? 

My answer is, Yes. Its 100% worth it. 

As you can see, I have acne issues. I've been dealing with acne since I was little. You can also see how red and inflamed the area surrounding is.

After washing it off i instantly noticed how smooth my entire face was. Even my dry problem areas! I have super oily skin (mainly forehead) for the most part and it took the shine right out! 

The redness and inflammation were reduced significantly and i noticed it even shrunk my pores! 

*Keep in mind this is my FIRST use.*

Now, let's talk long term.

Below is a picture after ONE WEEK of continuous use. 

You would think i photoshopped or used a filter.
